This time around I was there with Sonya, and we had a delightful time. I rarely take photos when I am in Rio and so this time I decided to go full-out tourist-style so that I could have some photos to post. These are taken from atop Pão de Açúcar ("Sugarloaf" mountain), a lookout point to which you take a cable car. The beach you see in the second photo is Copacabana. If you look very closely in the upper left-hand corner of the third photo, you might just see Jesus.
