My friend Gaurav recently alerted me to this post on Curbed, a real estate blog that I had never heard of but Dave informed me is "well known." For the record, Roosevelt Island was an idyllic place to grown up and I resent the way in which Joey, whoever he is, has chosen to portray my homeland which is by no means, "a place with no government or laws."
