Our baking unit is in full swing.  The nice thing about it is that we each get to make our very own stuff (unlike with the cooking techniques when we made most things in groups).  Below are my pie, a cranberry pear, and my cake, a genoise four-layer cake with chocolate ganache.

Yes, I have been a royal slacker as of late with respect to this blog. But, that is only because I have been super busy with culinary school. I wish that I could write more (and I promise to soon), but, for now, I leave you with some shots of me in action.
