Rugby

Last weekend Dave and I drove to Williamstown to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the WRFC (Williams Rugby Football Club) with about 150 other alums. It was nice to be back in the purple valley -- the last time either of us was there was for Homecoming in November of 2004 -- and it was our first trip up together. Campus has changed so much. The trip was a good warm up for our upcoming trip in June for our 5th reunion. Dave played in two games: young alums versus alums from the early 80's, which he won, and '02s and younger versus '01s and older, which he lost. There was a lovely "banquet" that night, followed by an after party (consisting of 20 kegs under a dirty tent) which made me glad I didn't go to rugby parties while in college.
