Alaskan safari

Yesterday we took a 13-hour bus trip into Denali National Park. The day was cold and rainy but we were able to see a lot of animals including grizzly bear, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, porcupine, fox, hare, ground squirrel, harrier, golden eagle, and ptarmigan. Here are some of my favorite photos from the ride. (The sleeping bear is by far my favorite.)

Sadly, Denali herself (Mt. McKinley) was not out so I was not able to take a photo. They say you have around a 20 percent chance of seeing the mountain on any given summer day.
